the joys of being a mom...

Emery is sick, yet again. So this morning she sleeps in which is awesome for both of us haha me especially. Anyways, so i wake up to her crying which is normal except its not really a cry its more of the "come get me" whine. I open the door to be engulfed in the most awful smell of runny lime green poop diariah.. Hoping that she didn't have a blowout...(even though i knew it was coming, hey i can still hope right?) i go over to her bed trying not to gag i look at her bed sheets see a green spot, touch her bum...nothing unusual it's all dry, look at the front of her and waaalaaa. Totally soaked in poop. ewwwwwww! so i grab her up out of her crib and start to unbutton her onesies. i undo the second one and all this whitish green stuff falls to the grounds and im like "wtf is that" the top part of her diaper had actually opened....so all the stuff that makes it so it doesn't leak had come out of the diaper and onto the floor. So i put a towell down wrestle my screeming child who hates to get her bum changed especially in the morning, and use about 5 wet wipes to get everything off of her. put some new comfy clothes on her open up her couch thing that mimi found her make her a "ni ni" lay her on her couch and put on her favorite dvd...needless to say this is one of the joys of being a mom...haha
