Easter Weekend

We started saturday with an easter egg hunt at the church with my mom. That started with singing primary songs in the primary room and then moving into the cultural hall where they got to eat grapes and such and learn about the resurrection of christ. They then all lined up to go outside where each kid got to find 5 eggs. Emery was sooooo thrilled when she found her five and immediately opened them up.

We then went to Justin's parents house down in Utah County for another easter egg hunt as well as lunch. We roasted hot dogs over a fire and they were delicious. Carter and Brantly got to search for eggs first since they are the little ones, carter can walk brantly was just like whatever and then emery got to come in. She found sooooo many eggs :P (thanks easter bunny hehe:) So the smith family has the tradition of doing money eggs. Not where they just hide money in them but they put amounts in or on the eggs and then at the end they go through and count all their money and grandpa and grandma hook them up :P Emery got almost 16 bucks and brantly got almost 10. It was lovely.

After that we went up to heber to pick up my brother gary since we were doing a birthday dinner for my mom whose birthday was on easter this year. We went to the Chinese buffet in orem and it was sure tasty. It's always so much fun to see my brothers since i don't get to very often. Baby noah is super adorable and i love his laugh it's perfect. After we ate we were standing outside visiting and we saw one of the KID HISTORY GUYS! now this is even more hilarious because on the drive down with gary i was telling him about how we saw a kid history guy at cornbelly's last year and i was trying to get justin to take a picture of me walking behind him or something haha but i didn't. So we saw the exact same kid history guy and it was just funny. We are all big fans of their youtube videos...you should watch them if you haven't. HILARIOUS! (watch the candy episode...the guy we saw is the one who plays the mom haha) After that we took my brother back home. He noticed that my airbag light and my passenger seat belt light wouldn't turn off so he offered to take my car to the shop he works at and do some plug in code thing. So we did that and it worked! My car officially has no annoying flashing lights or dashboard lights on and it is sooooo nice.Thanks Gary!

The easter bunny visited us on Sunday morning. Emery got a big book of booboo's (doc mcstuffins) a jumprope some candy and an outfit. Bubs got some soft square blocks an outfit and a crinkly blanket thing. We then went over to my moms while she was at work and decorated her apartment a bit and surprised her when she got home, that was fun. We went to a park and walked around and let emery play on the playground and then went back to my moms and had some dinner and resurrection rolls. Marshmallow soaked in butter then sugar then wrapped in a cresant roll....the marshmallow dissolves as it's cooked. DELICIOUS!

Then we headed over to dad and rhonda's and watch the season premier of game of thrones. I sure do enjoy our sunday evenings with them it's a sure fire way to keep us in touch and that is nice to me :)
