It's been a while

I've had absolutely no desire to blog as of late. Much has happened mind you, but i haven't had the desire to share any of it. No not much of it is bad in fact only a tiny bit of it is. So we'll start back in September.

Justin and I shared our 2 year anniversary together :). That was lovely. We went to rodizio grill? And then went to a local fun center and played miniature golf. Haha we are still little kids and like to do silly things but to be honest i loved it. It reminded me of one of our very first dates after he came home for the very first time from baseball. We played mini golf and go karts...So it was fun to do something like that again on a special occasion.

October went by pretty fast. I love Halloween it is one of my most favorite holidays. Emery was Darth Vader Justin and i were storm troopers and bubs was r2d2. It was quite the hit. Justin got a promotion/raise which is always super rad. I had my very first symphony concert with the American Fork Symphony. We played a lot of cool music and even the harry potter suite. Our last song that we played was crazy and we didn't do to great at it which was strange because we had never not played it really good....oh well that's how it goes sometimes. We are now practicing Christmas music so i struggle with going to rehearsals because to be honest Christmas music isn't that hard....and it's by far not my favorite so the motivation is hard to find.

I also started to workout again...and then i got sick and now I'm pretty idle about it but am looking for the motivation to change that as well because I'm just not happy with the way i look even though my husband still thinks I'm as foxy as ever which is nice :)

Emery turned 5! Can you even believe it???? I sure can't. Justin stayed home from work and made her french toast for breakfast. We then just hung out until school and then after school we took her to build a bear and guess what....she put the star wars theme in it's paw hahaha of all of the other ones to pick she picked star wars...surprising, not really. She named her red panda bear Abella. I'm not sure where she got the name but that's the name. We had a small party for her that night which was nice. I made a star wars cake for her and she got everything she wanted aka play dough plus haha. Silly child. My mom likes to give gifts that create memories so we went to this place called kangaroo zoo. It's a warehouse full of bouncy houses and emery was in heaven even though she hurt her foot AND got a bloody nose haha she's hardcore. Baby b took a while to warm up to it but then had a blast as well. It was pretty fun.

As for the sad not happy part of this post, my cat spot had to be put down. My mom was kind enough to take care of him for me the last while so he really was more her cat than anyones. He had stopped eating a while back and would vomit anything he ate. She took him to an er vet and he has a big mass in his stomach. She took him to another vet and it was a very big fast growing invasive tumor and operation wasn't a realistic option. We put him down last Tuesday. It broke me. He was the cat i had got for josh for Christmas so long ago and he came back to me after josh passed. It was really hard for me to say bye to him. We had him cremated which i feel kinda silly about but i have fantastic plans for his ashes that i think will really help me :) He was a good fat beast and emery misses him a lot she tells me almost every day how he was so nice to her and that she will miss him and asks why he had to die. It's hard to try to explain death to a little 5 year old. She was very sad. Then to top that off our fish goober II died. We buried him today and she just clutched to my leg and sobbed. She asked me again why he had to die. I just squeezed her tight and told her i loved her and that it would be okay. She told me that she knew and that she would see him and spot and grandma Marilyn again. She misses grandma Marilyn.

Any who things are pretty good here in the smith household. Sorry there's no pictures but i really just am to lazy to upload and download and place and all that so maybe another time.
