Our last month

has been crazy! Lots of stuff going on here at the smith household, at least to me it feels like lots of stuff haha. We got another 2 camping trips in and may go out at least 1 more time. The first trip was up at strawberry reservoir for the opening of the Elk bow hunt...i think haha. We pulled the trailer up and went with Justin's little brother Jesse and his friend Ashton. Those two are just awesome people. We had alot of fun up there and it was lovely. It was an emery free weekend so it was just the hubs, bubs, and i. Our second camping trip was just this past weekend. We went down to justin's aunt and uncles property up above mt pleasant. It's way cool down there and boy were there so many dogs :P hahaha. Sue, Dennis, Jesse, Shar, Kev, Kandas, Scott, Emery, Brantly, Justin and I were all there and it was a grand ol time. Emery got to ride the 4-wheelers when it wasn't raining and she loves that. I loved that it was rainy. Nothing like rain on the trailer. the sound is fantastic. We also went shooting down at the range in spring city. Jesse is one heck of a shot with a shotgun...he should try to be on Top Shot haha. Justin thinks he got his muzzle loader sited in but we'll probably go at least one more time before his hunt just to be certain sure. Brantly slept like crap all 3 nights but he is cutting molars so he's pretty sad.

While we were down there we headed into Ephraim to attend my Grandpa Tew's 92nd birthday. It was at my Aunt Melanie's house and it was so nice to see people i haven't seen in a really long time! We ate hamburgers and cake and other goodies. It was nice to see my grandpa as well. He is doing good and seems to be in pretty good shape although he did keep forgetting why we were there....his short term memory isn't the best.

Lets see what else has been going on the month of august. We had our family reunion with my mom. We went up Ogden canyon and stayed in a condo up there and it was glorious! It even had a theater room. The richey clan from Boise came down too and emery had such a good time seeing the Boise boys. Lots of swimming was involved and lots of movie/tv watching. The guys all went and played golf. It was really relaxing and nice.

Emery started preschool :O I had a really hard time the first day...i straight up had a panic attack walking to my car leaving her there. It's at an actual elementary school so it felt very real...haha. She did really good though and once she saw other girls she was like peace out mom! When i pick her up she does come running and gives me a huge hug each time and that makes me feel real good. She goes tue-friday 12:35-3:10 and she is loving it.

She also got to go on a family reunion/vacation with her dad taylor and his family. They went up to island park, Idaho and she was gone for 5 whole days....It was way weird to be without her that long and to be honest it kinda made me depressed haha. But she had fun and that side of her family is just full of awesome people that totally just love and adore her. She's a lucky girl. She saw a momma moose and her baby and they saw old faithful and birds that dove into the water and of course she told us alllll about the hot tub...that was her favorite part haha. I was really happy when she came home.

We also went to chuck e cheese for a back to school dinner (emery's choice) Wednesday night. Justin has also made the brave decision to go back to school after a 4 year break (baseball and work) He is going to the university of Phoenix and is getting his bachelors in business intelligence/developing (i think) He was super nervous but i just know he's going to do so great. I'm very proud to be his wife. He's a wonderful man/father/husband. I don't know what i would do without him.
