Update...a whole bunch of them

Well we bought a house first and most importantly of all the updates i think. We are loving it here. The weekend that we moved in we spent the night here on saturday night...on the floor like a campout (not the best idea sleep wise...but it was an awesome memory), We also surprised emery with a bike in her room. It was so adorable to see her reaction to seeing it. I think she was talking and she looked into her room and just went silent and was like whhhhhhat haha. She rode it around inside our living room/kitchen since the house was still empty. We moved in on Sunday and that went pretty smoothly. A HUGE thanks to everyone who came and helped to make it go smoothly. Justin kicked butt in unpacking a whole bunch of stuff that night, oh and did i tell you by the way that i was SICK! Sooooooo sick. I feel like i even talked about that previously in posts that everytime i move i just get soooooo sick...honestly everytime. So thank goodness that we won't be moving annnny time soon.

We painted emery's room a very pastel light purple while she was with her dad for the weekend and she lovvvves it. P.S. painting brick sucks major butt. We also got paint to do our room a brownish tanish colorish but we have yet to get to that...i think the brick wore us out haha. We bought a lawn mower...that made me feel all grown up. I slowly but surely weed out the garden area's in the front but there are lots of weeds and to be honest half the time i don't even know for sure if i'm pulling weeds or plants so i only do what i know for sure are weeds haha.

Emery hates like HATES any sort of bug which makes for some excitment when we are out in the yard...she will literally stop whatever she's doing come cling to me and demand that i execute said bug. She especially hates ants...we've had a few ants in our house and i have sprayed pretty much everywhere and i haven't seen one in a week or so. Hopefully living in a house and being outside more will help her not be so terrified of bugs. It's kinda ridiculous.

A couple of weeks ago we had a 1 hour of media a day special challenge in our family fitness challenge. You only got to have 1 hour of any screen time a day. I was dredding this week. I live on my phone and the interwebs and the t.v. Honestly though if we hadn't been in this house theres no chance i would have even made it a day. But we went for walks and we played imaginary during the day time while little miss and bubs would be watching the t.v. or a movie i would be reading a book. I finished 1 whole book in a couple of days then started another which i just finished recently because it was a much bigger read. A couple of nights the hubs and i would play battleship haha yeah battleship you read that right. It was a really good week and im glad i successfully did it. I felt more connected to my kiddo's and my hubs and there wasn't any outside noise. I don't think i could do a whole week with no media though....maybe i'll try that someday.

Mothers day was awesome, the hubs got me a massage certificate and i cannot wait to use it. He also got me workout shoes and clothes per my request...i've been feeling fat and sluggish even with the family fitness challenge and so i decided on a whim that i was going to do his second round of insanity with him...Hence the shoes and workout clothes...i've never ever ever in my whole life had the desire to workout for fun...I also got a certificate for a pedicure from my mom-in-law which i am also excited about  because getting my toes done feels sooooo good. I got to see her and rhonda but my mom is lucky ducky and was on a cruise!

Back to insanity, I finished week one yesterday and my body hates me haha. My sis-in-law danielle is doing it with us too so it's really fun to spend time together even though we're all totally out of breath and sweaty and dying the whole time haha me more than them. The first day you do a fit test and after that was over i puked 6 times....yeah it's awesome.

So that pretty much brings us up to date oh wait....Bubs is 8 months old! WHAT!

I'll just do a quick list on him
he's got 3 teeth (he now has 4 but when he turned 8 months he only had 3)
He is getting more of a personality and laugh's more at people besides emery :)
He hates to eat when he's teething...
He is still super chunky and delicious
His smile in the morning is my most favorite
He loves bath time and splashing around
His sister is still his favorite person i think...he adores her and she adores him
he loves eating puffs
He still doesn't sleep through the night...usually wakes up around 2 but he goes down really easy so i can't really complain
His hair is super awesome
He has the best baby blue eyes ever
I just love my little marshmallow boy
