Our Emergency Room Adventure!

Sunday evening after we (dad, rhonda, taylor, emery, and I) watched dexter, well lets back up a bit emery hadn't been feeling well since probably friday and sunday during the day she started to get warmer and warmer until sunday evening after dexter we tried to take her temp with an under the arm thermo but that wasn't working so rhonda went and bought a bum bum thermo emery didn't really appreciate that but they took her temp twice and it was 104.5.....i about DIED. Packed her bag and off to the e.r. we went. we were seen fairly quick since she's a baby and she was on fire crying. The doctor then ordered her to get a chest x-ray which may i just say was the most pitiful thing ever to watch. they had to strap her in this plastic thing so her arms were sticking straight up and she was just screaming her little lungs out snot runnin all down her body (she wasn't wearing clothes due to her temp being so hot). it was just pitiful. the doctor said she potentially has the swine flu ( but im pretty sure just the regular flu) she he wrote her a prescription for tamaflu and told me to alternate between motrin and tylenol every 3 hours she's feeling a little better but lets hope no more e.r. trips for her. not a fun time.
